    Does 154cm consistently present more of a challenge to sharpen than S30V? My experience is limited to a single knife made from 154cm. While its ability to hold an edge impresses me, achieving the razor-sharp finish I’ve managed with S30V and VG-10 blades appears to elude my sharpening skills.

    Additionally, the presence of a persistent burr on the knife in question could be complicating your sharpening efforts.
