Magnificent designer porcelain chess set with a folding board made of Karelian birch. Historical figures and striking features of heroes of the ancient era embodied in unique chess pieces. The craftsman created a historical event from the 13th century, where each figure is individual and unique. Alexander Nevsky’s army and Pope Innocent IV clashed on the chess battlefield. Each pawn has its own face and character.
The production of this collection took several years, since the era had to not only be thoroughly studied, but also embodied in detail in original characters. Each figure in the collection – from the king to the pawn – is a real historical character with a detailed and authentic depiction of facial features, weapons and uniform.
