The TSPROF K4 Maximum v3 2026 is the most extensively equipped configuration in the K4 range. This guided knife sharpening system is designed for users who need repeatable angle control, high structural rigidity, and enough clamping options to work with pocket knives, fixed blades, fillet knives, and long blades up to 17 in / 430 mm.
Its redesigned swiveling mechanism provides stronger support for the clamping frame in the horizontal position. Under a load of 30 N, the arm is specified to deflect by only 0.1°. A rear adjustment screw controls the force required to rotate the clamping arm, while the full flip lock prevents unintended movement during demanding reprofiling work or when sharpening longer blades.
Angle setting is handled through three separate adjustment stages. The extendable slider provides fast rough adjustment, the rack-and-pinion mechanism allows fine changes, and the micro-adjustment unit supports corrections down to 0.01°. This level of control is especially useful when removing a burr, matching an established bevel, or progressing through fine finishing abrasives.
The detachable Axicube Shift angle finder mounts to the far abrasive stop using a rail, magnet, and locking screw. It can be removed during sharpening to reduce weight on the guide rod and charged separately through USB Type-C. The front and rear abrasive stops can also exchange positions to suit the working setup.
TSPROF Quick clamps provide tool-free blade installation, support spine thicknesses up to 0.28 in / 7 mm, and apply up to 300 N of clamping force. The kit also includes dedicated fillet clamps, L-attachments, and an Ultra Convex attachment for a wider range of blade geometries and sharpening techniques. The removable clamping arm lets the user inspect an edge under a microscope without releasing the knife or losing its established position.
The abrasive holder uses cylindrical sleeve locking rather than point-pressure screws. This increases contact area, reduces the force needed to secure the components, and helps prevent marking the guide rod. A spring-loaded ball screw stabilizes the front abrasive stop, while a stainless steel and brass sliding interface supports smooth rod movement.
Seven narrow Alpha N resin-bonded diamond stones cover the complete progression from bevel reprofiling through polishing. They are rated for steels up to 70 HRC and are accompanied by a separate five-piece diamond-coated plate set.
The complete system stores in a rigid IP67 protective case with fitted EVA compartments. Secure latches, a perimeter seal, and a pressure relief valve help protect and organize the sharpener, clamps, attachments, stones, and tools during storage or transport.
