Overall Length: 269 mm (10 9/16″)
Blade Length: 170 mm (6 11/16″)
Blade Width: 39 mm (1 9/16″)
Thickness: 5 mm (3/16″)
Hardness: 59–60 HRC
Condition: Unsharpened
This mosaic Damascus blade is a true one-off — a single-copy piece forged using traditional pattern-welding techniques. The geometry in this one is wild — rectangular fireburst patterns across the bevel, framed by tight detail work at the edge and spine.
It’s forged from a layered stack of 100Cr6, high-carbon steel, and nickel, producing deep contrast and fine grain in the final etch. Fully heat-treated and ready for sharpening.
Material Breakdown
100Cr6 – Tough, stable in heat treat, very fine-grained.
Carbon steel – 0.7–0.82% carbon, ~1% manganese – ideal for sharp edges.
Nickel – Provides contrast and adds resilience to the layered structure.
Like all carbon-based mosaic Damascus, this blade needs care. Use Renaissance Wax or a light gun oil during storage to protect the etch and prevent corrosion. Handle it like a fine tool, not a stainless kitchen knife.
Heads up: Blade comes unsharpened, and without a handle — made for knifemakers, not end users.
