Overall Length: 267 mm (10 1/2″)
Blade Length: 170 mm (6 11/16″)
Blade Width: 40 mm (1 9/16″)
Thickness: 4 mm (3/16″)
Hardness: 59–60 HRC
Condition: Unsharpened / blade blank
Here’s another rare piece: a mosaic-pattern Damascus blade blank, forged once and never to be repeated. The central motif is complex and symmetrical — almost organic — set into layered contrast steel that comes alive when etched. A serious blade for a serious build.
The steel billet was built using European 100Cr6, high-carbon tool steel, and nickel, then forged, pressed, and patterned at high heat. It’s been heat-treated to a solid 59–60 HRC, ready for your final grind and sharpening.
Material Composition
100Cr6 bearing steel – Clean structure, great hardening response
Carbon steel (~0.8% C) – For edge stability and bite
Nickel – Brings high contrast to the forged pattern
Blade Care
This is a high-carbon blade blank. Use gun oil or Renaissance Wax after handling to protect the pattern and prevent oxidation. A little care goes a long way.
Note: This blade comes unsharpened and without a handle. For custom makers, restorers, or high-end blade collectors.
