The Herman Epika is a precision-built titanium EDC pen engineered like a high-end folder: compact, ergonomic, and designed to be used daily, not kept in a drawer. Its body is machined from a single, contoured piece of Grade 5 titanium with no joints, delivering a clean silhouette and a solid, balanced feel in hand. The engraved, multicolor anodized finish adds depth without sacrificing practicality.
At the core is the HCRLS Herman Ceramic Rotary Locking System. Instead of a standard click mechanism, the Epika uses ceramic ball locking and a ball-bearing supported rotary movement to deliver a crisp, controlled action with long-term durability. The frame of the system is made from phosphor bronze, chosen for strength and self-lubricating properties.
For writing performance, the Epika ships with a Fisher Space Pen pressurized refill that writes in any orientation and in adverse conditions. A UNI JetStream spare refill is also included, and the pen accepts Parker-style refills, making it easy to tailor the feel to your preferences.
