The Herman Epika Verdant explores a quieter side of complexity—where precision engineering is paired with a deep, organic color palette. Machined from a single solid piece of Grade 5 titanium, the pen features a hammered surface brought to life by a green-dominant heat-colored finish with subtle bronze and teal undertones.
At the mechanical core is the Herman Ceramic Rotary Locking System (HCRLS). Ceramic locking balls ensure secure engagement, while a ceramic bearing assembly delivers smooth rotational movement of the clip. The entire system is housed within a phosphor bronze frame, chosen for strength, wear resistance, and natural self-lubrication.
The clip is fully structural, not decorative. It is milled from one uninterrupted piece of titanium and integrated directly into the locking system—no screws, pins, or joints. This approach reflects Herman’s knife-making philosophy, where structural integrity and clean geometry take precedence over conventional shortcuts.
Writing performance is handled by the Fisher Space Pen PR1F pressurized refill, capable of writing in any orientation and under demanding conditions. The pen also accepts Parker-standard refills, allowing customization without altering balance or ergonomics. A spare refill is included.
Each Epika Verdant is finished individually, ensuring unique color transitions and surface character. It is designed to be carried, used, and marked by time—not hidden away.
This is an EDC pen built with the discipline of a tool
and the restraint of industrial art.
