At the center is CPM MagnaCut—heat treated with deep cryo (liquid nitrogen) to 63–64 HRC—ground in a hollow grind with a large radius and finished in a working stonewash. The handle is Grade 5 titanium in a deep blue tone, accented with a Rocks-pattern Grade 5 titanium inlay and a hammered titanium backspacer. Inside, Herman’s upgraded system combines caged bearings with 16 ceramic balls and precision M390 washers for stability and long-term smoothness.
