The Herman Knives Mantis is a full-size right-handed folder built around a 3.82-inch Böhler M398 blade hardened to 62–63 HRC. Its full flat grind is finished with a dark DLC BALINIT TRITON STAR coating, complementing the finely milled Grade 5 titanium handle.
Hand-engraved details distinguish the titanium pocket clip, titanium backspacer, and custom 440C stainless steel pivot. Deployment runs on Herman’s updated caged bearing system with 16 ceramic balls and precision-lapped M390 washers, while a titanium liner lock uses a tungsten carbide insert.
The knife includes the original box, certificate, microfiber cloth, Pruciak Protector Glide oil, and an in-house titanium screwdriver.
