The Herman Sting is a compact right-handed folder built around a 3.31-inch Uddeholm ELMAX blade hardened to 60 HRC. Its flat-ground blade receives a mirror-polished finish, while the machined Grade 5 titanium handle is protected by a dark Oerlikon Alcrona coating.
Deployment is controlled by a rear flipper and Herman’s updated 16-ball ceramic bearing system with hardened, hand-lapped M390 washers. The titanium liner lock incorporates a tungsten carbide insert, supported by a ceramic detent and tungsten carbide stop pin. Contrasting Grade 5 titanium is used for the clip and backspacer. The set includes the Herman box, certificate, microfiber cloth, maintenance oil, and titanium screwdriver.
