    Deployment is handled by a rear flipper and Herman’s updated bearing system with 16 caged ceramic balls running on hardened, hand-lapped M390 washers. A titanium liner lock, ceramic detent, tungsten carbide lock insert, and tungsten carbide stop pin support the mechanism. The knife includes its original Herman box, certificate, microfiber cloth, maintenance oil, and titanium screwdriver.
