The blade is made of Damascus steel. Engraved and gilded sun sign on one side of ricasso.
The handle is made of assembled metal and wooden parts. Brass made and gilded guard and pommel. Symbolic engraving of gilded fire ornaments. Decorative ball ending. Birch burl wooden grip.
The scabbard is entirely metal forged and rich adorned. Three planet diagrams, considered by the alchemists as mystical power elements are inserted in a half part of round shaped decorative ornament on one side. The sun, as the sign that embodies the alchemist’s notion of gold is depicted on the other half. Additional decoration by sun, fire and bricks ornaments and other mystical signs that are engraved, gold and silver coated. Decorative hanger ring.
