The scabbard is entirely metal forged and rich adorned. Very fine engraved, gilded and blackened pictures on both sides. A sketch of the famous 4th century BCE sculpture of the god Ares, associated with Scopas or Lisippus, depicted on one side. Additional brick and floral decorative ornamental engravings on both sides. Decorative hanger ring.
