Our custom ceramic ball bearings—crafted in-house by Herman Knives—deliver buttery-smooth action. Plus, M390 steel washers are precision-turned on a Swiss-type lathe, vacuum-hardened to 60 HRC, then cut and EDM-machined to exact tolerances. A final 4,000-grit hand-lapping gives each washer a near-mirror finish, keeping your blade flick as silky as possible.

Upgraded Pivot
We’ve reinvented the pivot with three in-house parts:
A self-lubricating phosphor-bronze bushing, EDM-machined to eliminate play
A seven-petal clover screw that locks rotation in place
A vacuum-hardened stainless Torx T20 screw—adjustable (just reapply thread-locker when needed)

Years of testing went into our new caged design, which holds 16 ceramic balls securely and keeps them rolling without risk of derailment.
