The Kadet Pro TGE keeps the original Kadet skeleton: rigid, CNC-milled 7075-T6 aluminium that locks in tight tolerances and looks every bit as refined as it functions.
GE for Glide
A newly engineered Glide hinge rides on a brass bushing, so the guide-rod slides as if on rails—no sticking, no chatter. Park the rod by simply lifting it into position; its own weight supplies the holding force.
At 2.1 kg (4.7 lb) the Kadet folds down quickly and slips into a pack or drawer, yet its 10 mm steel base and vibration-damping feet keep the rig rock-steady on the countertop.
Swap in specialty jaws from the TSPROF K03 line—quick-release, fillet, single-side, double-side, or even the micro tool table—whenever the job demands it.
Five dry-use diamond plates arrive in the box, no break-in or oil required:
• 150 grit for heavy profiling and chip removal
• 220 grit to finish shaping the bevel
• 400 grit for the main sharpening pass
• 600 grit to refine and smooth
• 1000 grit for a polished, biting edge
