Handle. Wooden grip of walnut. Decorative guard made of brass and then gilded. The pommel is made of nickel and it is shaped as medieval nasal helmet.
The scabbard is all-metal forged and artistically decorated. On one side are depicted a castle in Normandy, a portrait of William The conqueror, and Norman ship. Additional decoration with sacristy elements. Illustration of a battle scene of the Norman conquest of England and additional engraved ornaments on the opposite side.
