Minos is Lesbar Knives’ tribute to Greek mythology—an elegant, technical folder that nods to the power and judgment of the legendary King of Crete. The design language is confident and architectural: a woven, labyrinth-like titanium frame paired with a mirror-polished Damasteel blade that shifts between light and pattern as you move it.
At the core is a Damasteel Bifrost stainless Damascus blade (Damasteel AB, Söderfors, Sweden), heat treated and stabilized with triple liquid nitrogen normalization to land at a practical 61 HRC balance. The blade is mirror polished and etched, giving the pattern depth without sacrificing a clean, high-end finish.
The handle is machined from titanium 4Al-3Mo-1V—a high-strength alloy—then tuned with a precision pivot system: ceramic balls in bronze retainers, a bronze bushing in the pivot barrel for long-life smoothness, and a free-rotating ceramic detent ball for a cleaner action. Lockup is handled by a titanium lock leaf with a replaceable M390 lock insert, backed by a tungsten carbide stop pin for durability where it matters.
About Lesbar Knives: Founded in 2018 in Irpin, Ukraine, Lesbar is the collaboration of knifemaker Oleh Lesuchevsky and jeweler/engraver Stan Baranovsky—function and mechanics on one side, aesthetics and fine detail on the other.
