An ornamented cast brass guard frames the wooden grip, while the gold-coated pommel features cast hunting dog heads on both sides. The figured grain of the birch burl complements the Damascus pattern and the warm finish of the fittings. Traditional techniques used in its construction include Damascus steel forging, brass casting and stamping, gold coating, and polishing.
The knife comes with a handmade walnut presentation box, a certificate of authenticity, and two pairs of white cotton gloves for handling and display.
